2 Pictures I took:
+ The Huge Sun Eruption on June 7th
The powerful mid year “Eclipse-Triad ” occur on : June 1 / June 15 / July 1.
The three occur exactly 15 days apart. And as if that wasn’t enough there was this huge Sun Eruption on June 7th!
The two partial solar eclipses , sandwiching a full moon lunar eclipse. Barely enough breathing room, so get ready for a powerful ride.
I had the chance to witness this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse from the rooftop of Antwerp’s MAS .
There were several planet-watchers there with their telescopes and I took the liberty of putting my camera lens close enough to one of them and shot the moon in al it’s glory ;)
Ow and at this time we witnessed the International Space Station ISS passing by…
A BIg Star in the sky traveling at 27.744 km/u, so it flew over Belgium in about a minute!
